Adobe States the Obvious- Lord Love'em
Adobe in the UK recently released the results of their "Meeting Fatigue Survey". I didn't even know there was one but it had some good stuff including:
- UK managers spend 5.5 days a month preparing for, travelling to and attending meetings. There was much rejoicing and surprise that they spent ANY time planning but maybe i'm just cynical
- 7 Percent of respondents admitted to falling asleep in meetings. That NEVER happens during webmeetings...most people are too busy answering email
- Results of the survey have "proved to Adobe that in some cases webmeetings or e-learning would benefit some industries more than traditional face-to-face meetings". I believe the technical term is "No Duh".
Here's the critical piece of the information though- despite shamelessly shilling for Adobe Connect the spokesman did admit that "it's still up to the person holding the meeting to keep the content interesting and engaging".
Hey, whether you use WebEx, Adobe Connect or any other tool, it's all about how you use the tools... that's what we're here for. Let us know if we can help.

"The things you type when you search for something are going back to the provider and can be quite revealing," she said, noting that most users understand that. "But [Chrome's] OmniBox and IE8's Suggested Search capture everything in one space, not only searches but all the Web sites that you would be typing into the box. So they'll know even more about you. flash templates"
Microsoft does not enable the keystroke capture and logging tool by default -- as does Google with Chrome. "That makes a huge difference," said Cooper. "Not many people go around tweaking their browser. best web hosting"
However, Microsoft does pitch the tool during IE8 Beta 2 setup. After installing the beta, users are shown a screen that asks "Do you want to discover Web sites you might like based on Web sites you've visited?" The default response is "Yes, turn on Suggested Sites," but users can also select "No, don't turn on," before continuing the configuration process.
